Butterflies!

Over the last few weeks we have been watching the life cycle of our caterpillars. We watched them turn into chrysalises and then hatch out into beautiful butterflies. We kept them in our classroom for a couple of days but then released them into the wild.
We really enjoyed having them stay in our classroom and were really lucky to be able to watch them grow!

1.3 have some interesting visitors in their classroom!

This week 1.3 have had some caterpillars arrive in their classroom!
We are going to be learning about life cycles in science soon and are going to watch the caterpillars in their life cycle!
Some of us have already predicted what will happen and we have noticed that they have already grown a little bit since they arrived!
It is very exciting!

Good work assembly

Bilal and Ben both won good work certificates this week, well done!
Bilal has been working really hard at his maths, writing and reading! He has been doing super listening on the carpet and been trying to do his work without any help from his teachers! Keep up the hard work Bilal!
Ben has been trying hard to use capital letters properly. Ben has found this tricky in the past but no matter how frustrating he found it he kept on trying and only made one mistake this week! I hope you carry on trying just as hard next week Ben! Well done!

Last week we made Diva lamps to celebrate Diwali. First we designed our lamps before using the clay to make them. We decorated them with patterns in the clay and paint.
