Star pupil certificates!

Well done Ben and Kenan! They tried really hard this week in their maths lessons. Even though they found the work hard they kept on trying their best! Well done boys!

This week Ibrahim and Ameeko have been chosen for star pupils. They both worked really hard in their lessons and tried their best produce good work. Well done boys! 

The three little pigs

This week we have been learning the story of the three little pigs. 

We made wanted posters for the big bad wolf and put them around school to try and catch him. 

The big bad wolf even snuck into our classroom! 

Spelling test results!

Well done Abdul! You were the only one in 1.3 this week to get 10/10! What a super star! 

Anti Bullying week

This week is anti bullying week and we have been doing lots of fun activities to celebrate! 

Yesterday we worked with 3.3 and wrote compliment flowers to each other! 

Diwali

Last week we made Diva lamps to celebrate Diwali. First we designed our lamps before using the clay to make them. We decorated them with patterns in the clay and paint.

This week 14 children got full marks on their spelling test! This is the most we have had this year! Let's try and get even more next week!

Work of the week

Well done Meadow! At home, she wrote an excellent story and included a start, a middle and an end. Super work Meadow!

This week 1.3 have two mathematicians of the week! Luke and Abdulrahmen both put a lot of effort into their work about shape! Well done to both of you!

Our writer of the week is Abdulrahmen! He has worked really hard this week in literacy lessons and met his targets of saying his sentences before writing and using finger spaces. Great effort Abdulrahmen!

This week our reader of the week is Abdulrahmen!! He has had a super week! He read his story and could talk about it afterwards! Keep up the hard work!

On Friday 27th March, 1.3 are holding an Easter egg hunt on the back grass at lunch time. This is part of our PSHE Make, Save and Buy project where children are learning about earning money. The children will get to spend their profits on a fun day at school! 

Tickets are £1 each and we will be selling them every morning during registration.
We will also be holding an Easter sale of cards, biscuits and cakes after school on Friday 27th March. Please come along and support us! 

Wall of fame!

Congratulations to our writer of the week Luke! This week 1.3 have been creating characters and settings for our very own stories. Luke described his setting and remembered his target of using capital letters which is why he is writer of the week, well done Luke!

Great Fire of London

This term we are learning about the Great Fire of London. Some of us made some wax crayon pictures and melted them to make it look like the houses were on fire!
